ThinkGIF pricing FAQ
How does ThinkGIF pricing work?
You buy a pack once and each GIF uses a fixed number of credits. The cost is shown next to the generate button before you start, and nothing renews on its own.
Is anything free?
Yes. After you sign in, your first preview is free: 4 square frames, with a watermark, to view only. The animated text and sliding text tools are free too, with no sign-in and no watermark.
What do I get for one GIF?
One looping GIF of up to 16 frames, with no watermark. Download it as it is, or compressed for Discord, WhatsApp or X.
Which pack should I pick?
Pick by how many GIFs you plan to make. $4.99 covers 20 GIFs, $9.99 covers 50 and $19.99 covers 110, and every pack works on every style.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire. Your balance is shown in your account and you can use it whenever you like.
Is there a subscription?
No. Most people make a GIF when they need one, so you pay for GIFs you actually make and never have to remember to cancel anything.
Can I buy more GIFs later?
Yes. You can buy another pack at any time and the new credits are added to your balance.
What if a GIF fails?
A GIF that fails to generate does not use your credits; they go back to your balance automatically, and you can try again.
What if I don't like the result?
Try one subject and one movement in the prompt, which gives the cleanest loop. If a finished GIF still looks wrong, contact us at support@thinkgif.com with the link and we will look at it.
Can I get my money back?
Yes, for unused packs. If you have not used any credits from a pack, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying it. The refund policy explains how to ask.
Is ThinkGIF pricing the same in every country?
Yes. ThinkGIF pricing is the same everywhere and is charged in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate and may add its own fee.
How do I pay?
You pay by card or a wallet that Stripe supports in your country, through Stripe checkout. Prices are in US dollars. We never see or store your full card number.
What will I see on my bank statement?
The charge will appear as ZEROSHOTAI* ThinkGIF (some banks shorten it). It is a single one-time charge for the pack you picked.
Do I need an account?
Yes, to make AI GIFs or buy credits. Signing in ties your credits to you and keeps your finished GIFs in one place for 30 days, so you can download them again from any device.
Do more frames or a wider shape cost more?
No. Every AI GIF costs the same 10 credits, whichever options you choose. You can pick square, wide or tall, 4, 9 or 16 frames, and any speed, and the cost stays the same. That makes it easy to work out how many GIFs a pack gives you, because the answer does not change with your settings. It also means you can pick the options that suit the idea rather than the ones that cost the least.
How is the free preview different from a paid GIF?
The free preview is there so you can see what the generator does with your idea before you buy anything. It is 4 square frames with a watermark, and it is for viewing only. A paid GIF can run up to 12 frames, comes in square, wide or tall, has no watermark and is yours to download. Each account gets one free preview.
How many GIFs do I really need?
It depends on how you use them. If you want a handful of reaction GIFs for a group chat or a one-off post, 20 GIFs is usually plenty, and $4.99 is a low-risk way to start. If you make GIFs for a channel or a small community every week, 50 leaves room to try a few versions of each idea. If GIFs are a regular part of your work, 110 brings the cost of each one down to $0.18, the lowest of the three packs. It is worth allowing for a retry or two, since a small change to the prompt often gives a better loop.
Which pack gives the best value?
The larger the pack, the less each GIF costs: $0.25 per GIF on the $4.99 pack, $0.20 on the $9.99 pack and $0.18 on the $19.99 pack. Because credits never expire, the larger pack costs you nothing extra if it takes a while to use up. If you are not sure yet, start small: you can always buy another pack later and the credits simply add to your balance.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your finished GIFs stay in your account for 30 days and the free text tools keep working. To make another AI GIF you need at least 10 credits, and the generator shows you the packs when your balance is too low. Nothing is charged automatically, because ThinkGIF never takes payment unless you choose a pack and complete checkout yourself.
Do the free text tools use credits?
No. The animated text and sliding text tools run in your browser, so they use no credits, need no account and add no watermark. Use them when you want words moving on a plain or coloured background. Use the AI generator, which is what credits pay for, when you want a scene or a subject drawn from your description.
Does compressing a GIF for Discord or WhatsApp cost anything?
No. Once a GIF is finished you can download it as it is, or shrink it for Discord, WhatsApp or X at no extra cost. Compressing does not use credits, and you can try a different size from the same GIF if the first one does not fit where you want to post it.
