About ThinkGIF

ThinkGIF is an online tool at thinkgif.com that turns text into animated GIFs. Type a description and get a looping animated GIF in about 20 seconds, plus free browser tools for sliding and animated text GIFs.

How It Works

You type what you want to see, choose the settings, and ThinkGIF makes a looping GIF from your words. The GIF appears in your account when it is ready, and you can download it.

ThinkGIF runs in the browser on a phone or a computer, and every GIF is saved to your account until it expires, so you can come back and download it later.

What It Costs

GIFs made with AI use credits, and your first preview is free. You buy one-time credit packs on the pricing page, and that page also says exactly what is free. There is no subscription to cancel and nothing renews on its own. If a GIF fails to generate, its credits go back to your account automatically, and you are not charged for a result you never received.

Payments are handled by our payment provider. ThinkGIF never sees or stores your full card number. The refund rules are written out in our Refund Policy.

What It Is Not

ThinkGIF is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with any creator, brand or platform that may be mentioned on this site, and the names of those services belong to their owners. GIFs are made by an AI model, so they can differ from what you pictured. If one looks wrong, try a shorter prompt with one subject and one movement.

Your GIFs

What you type is used only to make the GIF you asked for. Finished GIFs are deleted after 30 days. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Only describe people, brands and characters you have the right to use, and never minors. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
